CMF Headphone Pro Launched For Only $99 With 100-Hour Battery And ANC

CMF, the budget-friendly sub-brand of Nothing, has officially launched its first over-ear wireless headphones: the CMF Headphone Pro. After a series of teasers highlighted a mysterious button on the device, the company has now revealed its full feature set, emphasizing long battery life, practical controls, and a competitive price point under $100.

Physical controls and the “Energy Slider”

Unlike many headphones that rely on touch-sensitive surfaces, the CMF Headphone Pro favors physical buttons for ease of use. The device includes a power/Bluetooth button, a customizable action button (adjustable through the Nothing X app), and a multifunctional slider for managing volume, track navigation, and ambient sound.

The main novelty is the Energy Slider—the previously teased button—designed to let users adjust bass and treble in real time, without needing to open menus or apps. This addition aims to give listeners more autonomy and instant control over audio tuning.

Noise cancellation and battery performance

The headphones feature adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), which automatically adjusts noise suppression depending on the environment. With ANC disabled, the CMF Headphone Pro offers an impressive 100 hours of playback, while enabling ANC reduces battery life to around 50 hours.

Even so, this outperforms many premium competitors: for instance, Sony’s WH-1000XM6 provides 40 hours (30 with ANC). A five-minute fast charge supplies up to four hours of use, and charging can be done directly from several smartphones via USB-C.

Design and customization

In contrast to Nothing’s more angular headphone designs, the CMF Headphone Pro embraces a rounded, minimalist look. It includes circular ear cups, a cushioned headband, and padded ear cushions for comfort. The headphones are available in three understated colors: dark gray, light gray, and light green. For those seeking more style, replacement ear pads will be sold in vibrant orange or light green for $25.

Pricing and Availability

The CMF Headphone Pro is positioned aggressively in the market, priced at $99. This is less than half the price of the Nothing Headphone 1 ($299), while offering longer battery life and additional customization options. The headphones will launch in the United States on October 7, 2025.
