Summary
- The Wolfbox G900 Pro is a mirror dash cam with twin high-res cameras and voice control for safer use.
- It features a 4K front camera with a Sony Starvis sensor and a 2.5K rear camera.
- It offers advanced features like Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS tracking, and parking monitoring.
While there are all manner of dash cams out on the market, the Wolfbox G900 Pro is a little different. It’s a mirror dash cam, which clamps over an existing rearview mirror and comes complete with a 12-inch touchscreen display. This can be used to control all the features and functions, plus the front-facing dash camera is supplemented by a standalone rear-facing unit.
At the front, the Wolfbox G900 can shoot 4K video, with a 3840 x 2160 resolution at 30fps, making use of a potent Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 sensor. Meanwhile, the
rear camera
captures footage at 2.5K, with 2560 x 1440 resolution at 30fps. Bringing it all together is the main mirror camera unit, which features a clever touchscreen interface that delivers a host of features including split-screen viewing.
You can choose from touchscreen operation or voice control for safer use on the move, while the features and functions include 5.8GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS tracking, a G-sensor for detecting impacts as well as
parking
monitoring. The latter does require the unit to be hard-wired into a vehicle though, by means of an optional hard-wire kit available separately.

What I liked about the Wolfbox G900 Pro
Packed with great features and awesome video, too
I really like the innovative features found on the Wolfbox G900 Pro, and it’s made all the better by having the benefit of a rear-facing camera too. The front camera’s 5K resolution is great, shooting at 30fps — although once both the front and rear cameras are set up and running, the combined shooting system is 4K and more than suitable for most needs.
It all works very efficiently thanks to the Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 sensor.
Adding extra appeal is the Night Vision Technology, which boosts the performance of the Wolfbox G900 Pro after dark. Better still, everything can be controlled via the 12-inch IPS touchscreen display, with the added benefit of split-screen viewing. However, the other bonus is that this model works using voice control too, making it safer to use when you’re on the move and need to go hands-free. There’s a solid Wolfbox app, too, that helps with file management.

The 70mai 360 Omni 4K Dash Cam is as good as it gets
The 70mai 360 Omni 4K Dash Cam offers front and rear coverage plus the option for vlogging inside the car too.
The other great thing about the Wolfbox G900 Pro is the ease with which it can be set up. Installation doesn’t take much time at all, plus there’s the convenience of powering it via a 12V port in the majority of vehicles. More advanced features, such as the parking monitoring, require the unit to be plumbed in using an optional hard-wire kit available separately.
It’s not cheap, but the package is impressive.
What I didn’t like about the Wolfbox G900 Pro
This mirror dash cam takes up some major screen real estate
I guess one of the biggest issues for some vehicles might be the overall size of the Wolfbox G900 Pro. The 12-inch touchscreen is impressive to look at and performs well, but the sizable length of the unit can be obtrusive on vehicles with smaller screens. However, it’ll work just fine on something larger like a pick-up truck.
The other potential downside for some users who just want a simple dash cam solution is that the Wolfbox G900 Pro does come with lots of extra bells and whistles, which obviously pushes the price up. This twin camera bundle might pack in lots of crystal-clear clarity, but it is possible to bag a much cheaper, high-resolution dash cam model for less cash if you don’t need advanced features.

Should you buy the Wolfbox G900 Pro?
Worth considering for the power features
The Wolfbox G900 Pro is a bumper package, which comes with the benefit of front and rear cameras, lots of juicy resolution and high performance from Sony’s Starvis sensor. If you need complete coverage with lots of features and functions found in conventional dash cams, you’ll love its appeal.
It’s more practical because it also doubles as a mirror, complete with touchscreen functionality for good measure. It’s not cheap, but the package is impressive.
