Why You’ll Love This Pumpkin Banana Bread
This bread is an easy quick bread that you can throw together quickly! No yeast or waiting for the bread to rise. Also, it’s a great way to use ripe bananas and still enjoy that delicious pumpkin flavor we all love during the Fall season. It’s wonderful with a cup of coffee or could even be a dessert. This bread has a great texture, and the nuts and powdered sugar glaze just add another level!
Swaps or Additions
You can leave the nuts out if you are not a fan of nuts! This bread is just as good without the glaze but we find it adds a great sweetness to it and we love it.
Changes We Have Made – One Loaf or Two?
We recently remade this bread and updated this post. This bread has been on our website for years. We first made it years ago; we made 2 loaves of bread with this recipe. We halved the mixture into two 9×5 bread pans, which made 2 smaller loaves. We baked it for about 50-60 minutes. We just remade it in one loaf pan, and it made a nice, bigger loaf. We had to cook it for around 70 minutes, and we liked having just one big loaf, so you can do whichever you like.
